Born in Osaka in 1957 as the second son of Okura Chojuro, the 15th family of the Okura school. Since his 20s, he has produced not only regular Noh performances, but also “Noh out of the Noh Theater” so that everyone can easily meet the Japanese culture of “Noh”, and produces “Kintetsu Art Museum Noh” and “Kano Shouju An Takigi Noh”. He has performed overseas and many Noh experience courses for children. His publications include “Genjiro Okura’s Noh Talk” and “Japanese History Unraveling From Noh”.
