Masaya Iwasaki
A traditional cultural education professional. Associate Professor, Cultural Communication Course, Faculty of Contemporary Japanese Sociology, Kogakkan University. 《Profile》 Kogakkan University Faculty of Contemporary Japanese Sociology, Culture Dissemination Course Associate Professor Born in Tokyo in 1959. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Waseda University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering and a master’s degree in graduate school. He is a first-class architect, museum curator, and director of the Chanoyu Cultural Society. 1984- Shozo Uchii Design Office Co., Ltd. (Design supervision: Ichinomiya City Museum, Urasoe City Museum of Art, International Research Center for Japanese Culture, Fukiage Shin Gosho, Kyoto State Guest House (planning) 1996 – Heian Capital 1200 Memorial Association permanent advisor. From 1998, he worked as an assistant professor and dean of the Faculty of Education at Ikenobo Junior College (Architecture and Interior Course), and assumed his current position in 2010. Since September 2021, Reiwa he has been a visiting researcher at the University of London, SOAS, JRC (Institute for Japan Studies) and a one-year student at the CE Art History Course at Oxford University.
